As one of the leading formula brands, Holle places a strong emphasis on the health of your little one, which is why their nutritionally complete Holle Stage 1 organic formula is formulated with organic vegetable oils. This is done in an effort to serve your child the fatty acids that are necessary for healthy development and a strengthened immune system. Infused with essential nutrients, our formula is free of any added sugars, gluten, or other harmful chemicals. Holle formula stage 1 is packed with essential nutrients and is easily digestible.

As this formula is free of any added sugar, corn syrup, egg, wheat, fluoride, or preservatives, 99% of the ingredients included in Holle organic formula are organically grown. Made in Germany, Holle’s Bio Stage 1 formula is certified as organic and adheres to the famously strict European standards, which are far more rigorous when compared to those within the United States. Even better, with the goal of achieving sustainability, all Holle milk products are produced by cows raised on biodynamic farms in nurturing environments. So, as our cows are being taken care of, your baby is too.

What Makes a Good Formula?

A good infant formula should contain high levels of protein, carbohydrates, and essential fatty acids, making up 98% of the formula. It should also have a good amount of DHA, which has a significant impact on the baby’s comfort. Most formulas are made with cow’s milk protein as it is easier for babies to digest. However, other formulas made from soybeans or goat’s milk may be recommended for babies under 12 months of age. Unfortunately, due to a national shortage of baby formula, it is important not to try to make formula at home as there are serious safety concerns with homemade formulas. Our range of European organic formula is a popular choice for all the vitamins and minerals a growing baby needs.
