Holle prides itself on a strict process that follows European guidelines that are much stricter than the standard rules of the FDA in the United States. With zero added chemicals, hormones, or antibiotics, you can be sure your baby is only getting the essential vitamins and minerals they need.

What Age Can You Use A2  Holle Stage 3?

A2 cow milk is ideal for babies and toddlers above 12 months. Stage 3 follow-up formula contains higher volumes of certain vitamins and carbohydrates, but is lower in calories. It has a creamier consistency and is ideal for helping make the transition to solid foods.  Holle A2 Stage 3 Organic Formula is great for supplementing breastfeeding and nutritionally complete to substitute for breast milk while transitioning your baby into a solid food diet.

What Are the Differences Between A2 Stage 2 & Stage 3?

Babies who outgrow stage 1 formula can transition to A2’s stage 2 or 3 infant formula. Both A2 Stage 2 and Stage 3 formulas accommodate infants’ and toddlers’ developing dietary requirements and preferences. However, there are distinctions between the equations used in stages 2 and 3:

Age range: Infants between 6 and 12 months will safely consume the stage 2 formula but not the stage 3 formula. The stage 3 formula suits infants between 12 and 36 months.

Nutritional Profile: Stage 3 formulas for older infants and toddlers provide more vitamins and minerals to promote healthy growth and development. It offers fewer calories and less protein and fat to meet the reduced energy needs of toddlers between 12 and 36 months. Stage 2 provides more iron and calcium to meet the requirements of a maturing infant (between 6 and 12 months).

Texture: Stage 3 formula is often thicker and creamier than Stage 2. This is because it is designed for older infants who need a diet with greater substance and texture. Babies on the A2 Stage 2 formula are still developing their digestive systems. Thus, the formula is often simpler to digest and has a smoother texture.

Flavor: The stage 3 formula has a natural taste, unflavored. Its neutral flavor accommodates the developing palates of toddlers who are just beginning to try new foods. The stage 2 formula has an extra flavor, making it more palatable to toddlers. Babies are likelier to take the A2 Stage 2 formula because of its sweeter flavor
